The Arc Cannon is a Primary Weapon for Titans appearing in Titanfall.
Summary[ | ]
The Arc Cannon fires lighting bolt like ammunition, and tends to be rather short range. Due to the fact that it utilizes plasma arcs to attack multiple targets simultaneously, it can be surmised that the ammunition itself is plasma based. It seems to have a short charge-up time before firing. When firing the arc cannon at a cluster of enemies, plasma arcs will erupt from the main point of contact, connecting close-by enemies with the target, electrocuting a group. Though it is limited by a relatively short charge-up time, the plasma arc fired can branch between multiple enemies, rendering large groups immobile or ineffective in short order.

Acquisition[ | ]
The Arc Cannon is made available at Pilot Level 21.
Strategy[ | ]
Because the Arc Cannon has a short charge time, it is best to use this weapon either against large groups of combatants or in ambushes. The plasma arcs can be used to attack multiple units at once, allowing for crowd control and enemy redirection. It is best used in combination with the rocket boosters, as this weapon works best up close and personal, instead of long range. Also this weapon disrupts the optics of the enemy titans. (Similar effect to Arc grenades and Arc mines) Using Capasitor Mod will allow you to deal more damage with the Arc cannon however you will be able to discharge it once if is fully charged.
Arc cannon is more like a support weapon which softens multiple enemy titans so other teammates can take them out.
