Jack Cooper is the protagonist of the single-player campaign of Titanfall 2. He is an aspiring pilot, and is the acting pilot of BT-7274.
Summary
Jack Cooper is a pilot who is linked to a Titan (BT 7274) against the wishes of command in Titanfall 2. The Titan, when telling command that his former pilot was killed in action, voluntarily bound himself to Jack Cooper. The Titan itself seems to have some sort of ability to self-determine, or at the very least, has a core intelligence program. Jack was given the helm of BT after the death of Captain Lastimosa on the planet Typhon.
Official Bio
Due to the radically skewed population and wealth distribution on Earth, Jack Cooper's family relocated to the Frontier in search of a better life when he was an infant. The rural Frontier community they inhabited was subjected to harassment and exploitation by IMC garrisons. As the IMC continued to disrupt the livelihoods of the people in his home system, Cooper volunteered as a Militia Rifleman, 3rd Class, to free the Frontier from the oppression of the IMC.
